Description
The Garden of Ninfa has a limited number of public openings each year, because of its delicate enviromental balance (plants, birds and insects).
Public tours of the garden take place in groups accompanied by a guide, following a single route.
They last approximately one hour and are suitable for the disabled. All visitors are expected to make an entry contribution towards the cost of maintaining the garden and ruins and providing guides.
On payment of a small supplement, it is possible to visit the hortus conclusus, a formal garden dating from the 17th century.
By dedicating approximately a half day to each, there is time enough in a day to visit not only the garden of Ninfa but also the Caetani castle of Sermoneta, likewise a property of the Fondazione Roffredo Caetani di Sermoneta o.n.l.u.s..
