St. Paul's Camerata

A collection of instrumental gems by the most beloved composers of the late baroque. Antonio Vivaldi’s charming flute concerto “Il Gardellino” (the Goldfinch) with
its trills and little scales inspired by the beautiful voice of a little bird. Georg Frideric Handel’s organ concerto conceived and written in a most light and playful style in order to entertain a large audience in between performances of other large works such as Oratorios.
Johann Sebastian Bach’s double concerto for oboe and violin, and especially the fantastic Brandeburg Concerto n. 2 where all instruments are challenged with a
virtuoso writing. An evening of pure music at its best.

PROGRAM
Johann Sebastian Bach: Brandenburg Concerto n. 2 for flute, oboe, violin and trumpet
Johann Sebastian Bach: Double Concerto in D minor for Oboe, Violin, Strings and Harpsichord
Antonio Vivaldi: Concert in D major "Il Gardellino" for flute and strings
Georg Friedrich Handel: Concerto for organ and orchestra in B flat
