From jazz to opera, from theatre to great literature: “Musei in Comune” in Rome are getting ready for Christmas celebrations with a program of events promoted by “Roma Capitale”, “Assessorato alla Crescita culturale” – “Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali” and organized by “Zètema Progetto Cultura” in cooperation with important institutions present in the city: Greek Embassy, Casa del Jazz, Roma Tre University, Opera House, Roma Theatre.
Events will all be free and will take place in small museums of Rome from Monday 26th December to Sunday 8th January. You will discover “Museo Napoleonico”, “Museo Pietro Canonica”, “Museo Giovanni Barracco”, “Museo delle Mura”, “Museo Carlo Bilotti” and “Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina”.
All the “Musei in Comune” will be exceptionally open on Monday 26th December 2016 and Monday 2nd January 2017, on Saturday 24th and Saturday 31st December they will be open until 2.00pm. Closed on 25th December.
Exceptionally open from 15.00 to 19.00 on Sunday, January 1st, 2017. Free entry for citizens residing in Rome only (showing a valid ID proving residence).
