Description
This fountain was built in the sixteenth century under Gregory the Thirteenth Boncompagni (1572-1585). It leans against the corner between Palazzo Negroni and Via del Clementino, inserted in an architectural facade with ashlar-work. It consists of a granite pond of the Roman age with the shape of a long and narrow rectangle that receives water from two taps placed on the wall and inserted within marble panels.
