Description
Visit to the archaeological area below the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, where the remains of an important domus, possibly belonging to the Lateran family, are preserved, with richly frescoed walls.
The remains of the barracks of the Equites Singulares, i.e. the barracks of the Emperor's mounted bodyguards, belong to the late 2nd century.

N.B.: due to the nature of the standard itinerary, the visit is not accessible to pushchairs and visitors in wheelchairs. People with walking difficulties, pre-school children and those suffering from claustrophobia are not recommended to participate. Comfortable shoes without heels are also recommended.
